2022 midterms

The U.S. midterm elections take place on Tuesday November 8, 2022. Voters will renew all 435 seats in the House of Representatives, as well as one third of the Senate (35 seats out of 100). This year, 36 states out of 50 will also elect their new governor, while a number of referendums are also on the ballot. The midterms are traditionally feared by the administration in charge, whose party often performs poorly. With the issue of high inflation dominating the debate, the Biden administration is no exception.
