Eager to better understand the reasons and consequences of the election of Donald Trump, more than 160 participants attended Ifri’s 15th Annual Conference on the United States of December 1st.
Debates covered the political upheavals of the 2016 campaign and the first decisions of the President-Elect; the risk of an evolution towards protectionism in the United States; and the course of action the foreign policy of the new administration may take.
