Canada has implemented an immigration and integration policy that is very different from the European experience. This Policy Paper analyzes some of the lessons that one can draw from the Canadian model. It explains why this model may not be suitable for most of the European countries, but also how Europe can obtain useful knowledge and understanding about diversity from studying Canada's approach.
