Russia in the Triple Storm: Constitutional Reforms, Economic Crisis, Pandemic Management
Practical information
A "Les Jeudis de l'Ifri" videoconference around Tatiana KASTUEVA-JEAN, Director of Ifri's Russia / NIS Center.
Since the beginning of 2020, several factors have tested the strength of the Putin system. The falling oil prices leads to the devaluation of the ruble and to a drop in the population's purchasing power. The turn of constitutional reforms was a surprise not only to the population, but also to the vast majority of elites. The COVID-19 pandemic's management is currently uncertain. Could this triple storm weaken the foundations of power in Russia?
This debate is for corporate members only. It will be conducted in French.
