Le Centre des études de sécurité de l'Ifri organise, dans le cadre du cinquième cycle de "séminaires-sandwichs" - septembre 2010-juin 2011 - le premier séminaire autour de François Géré.
Agrégé et docteur en histoire, François Géré est président de l'Institut français d'analyse stratégique (IFAS). Il est l'auteur de nombreux ouvrages sur les questions de défense, dont La guerre psychologique (Economica, 1997), le Dictionnaire de la pensée stratégique (Larousse, 1999) et Pourquoi les guerres ? (Larousse, 2002).
