Models of Integration and Integration of Models Special issue edited by Christophe Bertossi, Jan Willem Duyvendak, Migrations Société, Vol. 21 - No. 122, March-April 2009.

This project aims at examining and comparing the ' national models of integration ' in France and the Netherlands in a context when the question of their crisis is raised. The social and political practice of the discourse about the model needs to be questioned in order to understand the process of these crises. The focus will be shift on four inter-dependent aspects: 1. the uses of models; 2. sexuality and gender impact on integration discourse; 3. the debate around the ethnic categorisation; 4. Islam.
