Practical information
OSW and Ifri are hosting a lunch debate with Marek Menkiszak, Head of the Russian Division at OSW and Gilles Vander Ghinst, Head of Contact Countries, Global Partners Section, Political Affairs and Security Policy Division at NATO.
The problem of Afghanistan has become a key issue in the dialogue between Russia and NATO. The NATO-Russian dialogue on Afghanistan has also caught its neighbours in the negociations. During the seminar we would like to address the following questions:
- What factors determine Russian and NATO policy on Afghanistan?
- How has Russia"s and NATO's policies evolved, and what are their effects?
- What will be the effect of NATO's withdrawal on Russia, Afghanistan and the Central Asian neighbours?
We will be live-tweeting the debate at @IfriBxl.
