Benjamin Pajot is an Associate Research Fellow at Ifri's Geopolitics of Technology Center since February 2024 and a freelance researcher in digital geopolitics. After completing a Master's degree in Contemporary History at ENS Lyon and a second in War Studies at Université Paris 1 Panthéon-Sorbonne, he worked as a Project Manager on digital and cyber issues at the French Ministry of Europe and Foreign Affairs' Center for analysis, foresight and strategy (Centre d'analyse, de prévision et de stratégie, CAPS).

His research focuses on Sino-American technological rivalry, information manipulation, the socio-political impact of emerging technologies, and the digital commons. He also investigated the Russian-Ukrainian conflict in the cyber and digital fields.
