Dominic Fean is a Junior Research Fellow at Ifri, Russia/NIS Center. He is a graduate of The University of Sheffield (BA Hons.), and the Department of War Studies at King's College, London (MA International Relations). His Masters dissertation focused upon the nature of sovereignty and its implications for the Russian-Chechen wars. His research interests include domestic politics, secessionist movements and nationalism.
