Launched in 1936, Politique étrangère is the oldest French journal in the field of international relations. Since 1979, it has been published by the French Institute of International Relations (Ifri). Politique étrangère is a quarterly review of debates and analyzes on major international issues: political, economic or social. Its ambition is to offer economic or political decision-makers, and academic circles, in-depth analyzes of international news, perspectives on the major debates in international relations, and to constitute a reference instrument for the long term.
