One Month before the Election: The Political Outlook in Washington

The campaign for the November election, now well underway, witnesses a number of key debates: Is the fear of a U.S. decline, so often mentionned in the press these days, a transient mood or a deeper trend? How do the economic difficulties impact public opinion attitudes? How are campaign tactics and the polarization of the public debate affected by a growing use of the internet and social networks?

Bruce Stokes, Director, Global Economic Attitudes, Pew Research Center

Frédéric Tardy, CEO, L"Atelier US BNP Paribas

Gilles Biassette, Reporter, specialist of the United States, daily newspaper La Croix

Présidence : Laurence Nardon, responsable du Programme Etats-Unis, Ifri
