Alors que les liens ont tendance à se resserrer entre l"Inde et les pays de l"ASEAN, non seulement dans le domaine économique mais aussi en matière de défense, les conditions d"un dialogue politique ne semblent pas encore réunies. La mise en place d‘un véritable partenariat entre les deux parties est-elle possible ? Quelle pourrait en être la teneur ? Quelles sont les visions défendues de part et d"autre ?
Telles sont les questions qui seront discutées au cours de ce séminaire animé par Sophie Boisseau du Rocher, chercheur spécialiste de l'Asie du Sud-Est et auteur de "L'Asie du Sud-Est prise au piège" (Perrin, 2009), et Isabelle Saint-Mézard, chercheur associé au Centre Asie de l'Ifri, spécialiste de l'Inde et maître de conférence en géopolitique de l'Asie à l'Institut Français de Géopolitique, Université Paris 8.
