Lieutenant-Colonel Adrien Gorremans was an officer of the French Air and Space Force at the Defense Research Laboratory (LRD) of the Center for Security Studies (CES) of Ifri, where he contributes to studies relating to aerospace power, simulation and artificial intelligence. Fighter pilot on Mirage 2000C and B, he commanded the Fighter Squadron 2/5 "Île-de-France". Deployed on numerous occasions in foreign operations in Africa and Eastern Europe, qualified as a Mission Commander and instructor on Mirage 2000, he also contributed to the air defense of the national territory. He had 2500 hours of flight time and 120 war missions. A graduate of the École de l'Air, he holds a master's degree in mechanics from the University of Aix-Marseille and a university degree in astrophysics from the Paris Observatory, and is also a graduate of the École de guerre.
