Biographie En

Cécile Maisonneuve graduated from the Ecole Normale Supérieure. She is Lauréate of the Paris Institute of Political studies. She holds a Master in History from the Sorbonne Paris IV-University, which focused on French disarmament policy.

Cécile Maisonneuve began her career in 1997 in the French National Assembly as a staffer. After five years in the staff of the Defense Committee, where she was in charge of strategic and nuclear issues, she joined the staff of the Law Committee during two years. She then worked three years for the Foreign Affair Committee, following, among others, energy issues.

Executive at AREVA from 2007 to 2012, she was at first in charge of international affairs for the Chief Executive Officer and of international prospective. She was then responsible for European and international Public Affairs. She was member of the Board of AREVA NC and of AREVA Foundation.

She has also published research pieces for the French Foundation for Strategic Research and for the Center for Strategic and International Studies (CSIS). She is the author of a biography of Benjamin Franklin. She is a member of the Cercle Jefferson and of the Club Femmes et gouvernance.
