Arthur Daemers is a Research Fellow, Head of European energy and climate policies at Ifri since 1 April 2026.

Before joining Ifri, Arthur worked over six years in EU public affairs in Brussels. Among other positions, he was responsible for coordinating SolarPower Europe's advocacy efforts to EU institutions. He worked on topics such as: energy system integration, clean technology supply chains and the launch of the renewable hydrogen market.

He holds a bachelor in political science at University College London (UCL) and a masters in EU politics at the London School of Economis and political science (LSE).
