Dr Amélie Férey is a Research Fellow and the Head of the Defense Research Unit at Ifri's Security Studies Center. She published on the ethics of war; lawfare, and Israeli-Palestinian conflict.

She defended her PhD on "Targeted killings in Israel and the United States" in February 2018 at Sciences Po, under the supervision of Professor Astrid von Busekist and Ariel Colonomos. She received numerous grants from the National Foundation for Political Science (FNSP), IRSEM and the CNRS. Her book Targeted Killings. A Critique of weaponized liberalism, was published by CNRS editions in June 2020. Amélie Férey regularly lectures at Sciences Po Paris and Polytechnique. She was previously a visiting researcher at the French Center of Research of Jerusalem (CRFJ) and a post-doc research at the Institute for Strategic Studies (IRSEM).
