Security Studies Center

Commander Florence Duveiller is a military fellow currently assigned to Ifri's Security Studies Center as a researcher. As a specialist in the strategic and capability-related issues associated with space, she also contributes to Ifri’s Space Program.

A member of the French Armament Corps, she began her career at the Centre national d’études spatiales, where she worked on mission planning and the operation of military Earth-observation satellites. She subsequently joined the Direction générale de l’armement, holding positions related to space situational awareness, and space operations.

She is a graduate of the École polytechnique and holds a Master of Science in Aerospace Engineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology (Atlanta, United States).
