RAMSES 2024. A World to Be Remade

For its 42nd edition, RAMSES 2024 identifies three major challenges for 2024.

What the war is telling us: The war in Ukraine is upsetting the internal and institutional balances of the European continent: what form will the European Union or the Atlantic Alliance take in the future? More broadly, it calls into question the stability of its geopolitical margins, around Russia and with the emergence of new players.
India: the unknown emergence. Perhaps India embodies the new world: with its multi-azimuth diplomacy, its nationalist temptation, its economic emergence, its demographic weight and its ambitions to reform multilateral forums. New Delhi: a player to be reckoned with in shaping tomorrow's world.
Drafts of a new world: Economic interdependence is becoming a weapon, as are technological dynamics and ideological discourse. What major factors will shape tomorrow's world? Beyond the assertion of national interests, is it possible to imagine a collective and united construction?
