Paul Cormarie is Deputy Director for Strategic Stability at INHR, a Geneva-based think tank, and an adjunct Analyst at the RAND Corporation. At INHR, he’s responsible for organizing and moderating strategic dialogues between experts and scholars of the P5 on the intersection between artificial intelligence and nuclear deterrence. Before this role, he worked full-time for RAND in Washington DC where he led and supported large research projects on European defense and nuclear deterrence for U.S. government sponsors.
Paul has held fellowships with CSIS as a Nuclear Scholar, the Modern War Institute at West Point (MWI) as a Non-Resident Fellow, and was a Contributing Editor to the Irregular Warfare Initiative (IWI). Prior to RAND, Paul was a Researcher at the NATO Parliamentary Assembly, and an assistant to the Emeritus Chair in Strategy of CSIS. Paul is a graduate of Georgetown University, where he received a M.Sc. in Foreign Service (MSFS).
